Before you fly for dental care
RatedDocs already checks the dentist. This list is what you still decide — on a 15-minute video consultation.
RatedDocs already checks
1. Licence
The person at the chair is licensed, current, and unrestricted.
2. Sterilization
A walkthrough and logs — not a brochure claim.
3. Training
Education that matches the procedure they list.
4. Original photos
Before/afters that are not stock, not copied, not AI.
5. Materials
Named implant, ceramic, or composite brands.
6. Written warranty
How long, what is covered, who pays if it fails after you go home.
Ask these on the 15-minute video consultation
- Who will sit at the chair for my procedure — you, or someone else?
- What is in the written quote, line by line, in U.S. dollars?
- If something fails after I fly home, what happens, and who pays?
- How many cases like mine have you finished in the last 12 months?
- What is the plan if the in-person exam changes the quote? (If it jumps more than 15%, the hold comes back.)
Words you’ll see
- All-on-4. A full set of teeth for one jaw, held by four implants.
- All-on-6. The same idea, held by six implants for extra support.
- Verified. All six files passed. There is no 98. Not a Canadian licence. Not a promise you will be safe.
Stop if you hear this
- Pressure to pay today, or cash-only with no written quote.
- “U.S.-trained” with no school, year, or programme named.
- A clinic brand with no named dentist.
